elcome to the FPBooks Continuing Education Corner!

In our continuing effort to cater to the educational needs of Financial Professionals, FP Books has developed Continuing Education Corner, providing CFP Board Certified Financial Professionals with the opportunity to earn Free CFP Board approved continuing education credits. Our self-study programs are one of the easiest and most convenient ways to earn continuing education credits.
  1. Be a CFP Board member. Click here for more information about membership.
  2. Read one of our CFP Board accredited books.
  3. Select the corresponding exam from the drop down box (registration required).
  4. Answer each question on the online test. When you have finished, click the submit button at the bottom of the test.
  5. Your results are instantly tabulated. If you pass, a certificate will appear in your browser window that you may print for your records (pop-up blocker must be disabled). Scores are automatically reported to the CFP Board .
  6. A confirmation letter will be emailed to you once your results have been received and confirmed by the CFP Board.

Exams are available in the following subjects:

  • General principles of financial planning
  • Insurance planning and risk management
  • Investment planning
  • Income tax planning
  • Estate planning
